Founded in early 2014, Dead Cat Motorcycles (DCM) is the garage community of Østerbro Vintage Motorcycle Club located in Copenhagen, Denmark.
We are a group of some twenty guys from all walks of life sharing a passion for vintage motorcycles and enjoy socializing around it.
We are a non-profit organisation (almennyttig forening) in the sense that all members are contributing volunteers to a shared purpose of preserving and promoting the passion for vintage motorcycles and the culture around it. As a reflection of this, DCM is also a member of the umbrella organisation for vintage vehicle clubs and communities in Denmark, called Motorhistorisk Samråd.
Every Tuesday we open our garage for visitors and now and again we host a party, arrange rides, coordinate trips and co-host various events and initiatives within the vintage motorcycle community, and beyond, often in collaboration with friends and sponsors.
We are a passion driven community-organized group of people from all walks of life, who love wrenching and riding vintage motorcycles. And we love spreading that love by spearheading various public initiatives.
We are NOT a so-called “MC”, we are a community (forening). We are NOT either a motorcycle service shop, meaning that we don't run a business - the only bikes we work on are our own.
Feel free to drop by on a Tuesday night and say hi.
We also have a shop!
If you wanna show the world you love us as much as we love you, we got some dope drapes and merchandise for ya.
Remember, we’re a voluntary community, meaning our members pay our bills through membership fees, but if you buy a shirt or hat you’ll not only look gorgeous, you’ll also be supporting our community with all profits going to fulfilling our purpose, maintaining our facilities and hosting more events.
